I’ve received a Christmas card from the President and Mrs Bush every year since 2001 and all of them contained a quote from Scriptures. None of them had Merry Christmas or anything that might offend Jews or Muslims. All of the quotes were from the old testament (none mentioned Christ) and as such could apply to anyone.
