I had planned on making a Christmas gift purchase this week at our northside KC Dillards. I wont. I wrote them a polite but nastygram this afternoon thru their website Dillards.com (contact us). Let’s see if they give an adequate response. One can only hope they’ve learned a hard lesson.

Cruel.
My SIL was refused service at a hotel in MO in 2004 when vacationing...She’s blind, and used a golden retriever guide dog. It amazes me the ignorance of the law that’s still out there.
Dillards did apologize, but still, it reflects badly on that store’s management.
I’m slapping my own face in disbelief. The cheek of these nasty people.
I sent this story to 3 friends who each has a service dog.
The store should be made an example of, in my opinion.
These are not pets, they are service dogs. There is a world of difference.
