I was born n'raised in the north woods with my grandparents - grampa a Maine Guide - where there were more bear and moose than people.

Then later, after graduating, left the state and lived all over the nation. Took me a quarter century to get smart and move back to the woods - with the better neighbors.

Grizzled Bear just seems like someone who'd not be living in a big 'blue' city?
