National Media's Refusal to Cover White Couple's Murder (snopes confirms)

OK, so let's create a level playing field here. I have not even heard of this on CBS, ABC, NBC or any of the cable news services, even FOX NEWS. OR in any of the Newsrags or other publications. Read this and weep.

Bet you $20 you did not hear this on the national news.

The animals pictured below car-jacked, then raped Christopher Newsom, cut off his penis, then set him on fire and fatally shot him several times while they forced his girlfriend, Channon Christian, to watch. An even more cruel fate awaited her!

Channon Christian, was beaten and gang-raped in many ways for four days by all of them, while they took turns urinating on her. Then they cut off her breast and put chemicals in her mouth ... and then murdered her.

Where be the Revs Al and Jesse? Are they providing counsel and help to the families of the victims?

Of course not - the victims were white

Why hasn't this received National coverage by the news media like the Duke "rape" case?

Well then you will never understand the reality of it. You can't...not from a book. Sorry. You can have the wildest imagination alive but the reality is you will still be sheltered from the whole truth.

If you went to see the Passion of the Christ...you heard weeping and crying from people who have read the Bible a million times. They really didn't fully understand what our Lord went through until that day.

I don't want to look at these things either but I consider it my responsibility to understand to the best of my ability what is going on in my world and I never take anyones word for anything without analyzing the data for myself.

Same goes for racial relations. Go out into your community as you have done and see for yourself. It's the only way to be fully informed.

I was there. Yes, they were neo-nazis. Yes, they were all from out of state, mostly up north, ironically.

Several of them wore 88 shirts or had red tshirts with a swastika in the middle. Several carried signs that said “White Power” or “Around Blacks Never Relax” with an “artistic rendering” of a black man made to look like an ape. The ring leaders were Alex Linder and Hal Turner, (Who’s getting kind of porky and still needs donations, because Anonymous ruined his life.)

Anyone with a brain and an internet connection can use Google to find pictures of these tools.

Furthermore, anyone who says these tools weren’t neonazis, and believe me, they were proud of that label, is at best ill-informed, and at worst, one of them.

The national news media was initially criticized by some for not giving the crime adequate coverage because the victims were white, and the suspects black, but some commentators have explained that "as bad as this crime is, the apparent absence of any interest group involvement or any other 'angle' might also explain the lack of coverage."

This criticism was also fueled by erroneous reports of dismemberment, mutilations, and the duration of Christian's rapes allegedly committed by the suspects, especially in early reports. Most of the original reports were later denied by the District Attorney, along with misinformation reported from a federal deputy in the arresting state of Kentucky shortly after the suspects were apprehended. This misinformation was capitalized on by white nationalist groups promoting two small demonstrations in Knoxville against the crime and its lack of mainstream media coverage.

Police Chief Sterling Owen IV said that there is no indication the crimes were racially motivated, and that the murders and assault "appears to have been a random violent act." "There is absolutely no proof of a hate crime," said John Gill, special counsel to Knox County District Atty. Randy Nichols. "We know from our investigation that the people charged in this case were friends with white people, socialized with white people, dated white people. So not only is there no evidence of any racial animus, there's evidence to the contrary."

Some commentators have disagreed, notably including white nationalist Hal Turner, claiming that such a crime would include a motive of racial hate. This viewpoint was also repeated, along with erroneous rumors about the crime, in some conservative-leaning media, including blogger Michelle Malkin on Fox News's O'Reilly Factor program. Prior the DA's statement, Newsom's mother sympathized with the "hate crime" position, stating "It may have started out as a carjacking, but what it developed into was blacks hating whites". Christian's father (addressed those who are using his daughter's death to suit their own agenda) appeared ambivalent, stating "[the crime] ain't about you."

Even thought this might look like race crimes isn't only a select few who choose to be hateful towards another just because they don't look like then or even believe like them? Many have witness even here on FR over the months is only coming from a select few.

Should we not look for what brings us togather, and not focus what draws us a part!

Is it not up to each of us who holds this key which the creator has given to all of his children to choose how we treat out fellowman.

The Knoxville Horror: Crime, Race, The Media, And “Anti-Racism”

Shortly after midnight on January 7, the most controversial crime of the year (hopefully) was committed in Knoxville, Tennessee. A young white couple—Channon Gail Christian, 21, and Christopher Newsom Jr., 23—were carjacked, kidnapped, gang-raped (both of them), tortured and murdered. Five suspects, all black, are in custody.

I gave more of the appalling details in my May 14 American Renaissance online article. (See also the much longer, revised version that is the cover story of AR's July issue.)

The crime I have dubbed "The Knoxville Horror" has raised grave questions

About the credibility of the media, police, and prosecutors, who continually lie to whites about the dangers facing them, and, in the media's case, simultaneously propagate fictions about "white racism";

About America's perverted dialogue on race, in which citizens are presented with a false alternative between crypto-Marxist "anti-racism" and "white supremacism"; and

About a society in which whites are hunted like prey by black racists.

The Knoxville Horror is no aberration. At the end of this article, I will set it in the true context of black-on-white crime. And I will discuss two further subsequent cases perverted by America’s “anti-racism” dominant ideology.

The Crime

Almost ten months after the murders, Knoxville authorities still refuse to divulge the causes of the young couple’s death—or even to release the autopsy reports.

Charged with 40-46 state counts each of theft, robbery, rape, kidnapping and both felony murder and premeditated murder are: Lemaricus Devall Davidson , aka "Slim," a convicted carjacker just out of jail, 25; Letalvis Darnell Cobbins aka "Letalvis Darnell Davidson," aka "Rome," 24 , a convicted robber; George Geovonni Thomas, aka "Detroit," 24; and Cobbins' girlfriend, Vanessa Coleman, 18. Thomas is specifically charged with Newsom's murder.

Eric DeWayne Boyd, 34, who has "at least 12" prior convictions for aggravated robbery, and was allegedly Davidson's regular and Cobbins' occasional crime partner during an alleged months-long crime spree, is only charged federally, as an accessory after the fact to carjacking, for allegedly hiding Davidson.

(Except for once catching Davidson driving with a suspended license during the alleged crime spree, the Knoxville Police Department seems to have been missing in action. At the time of the killings, Davidson had an “outstanding warrant for failure to appear” in court on that charge.)

In May, Davidson was indicted on six additional state felony counts, including aggravated robbery and attempted robbery, for an incident at a Knoxville Pizza Hut that took place January 8—the day after the murders.

The four state defendants are scheduled to face separate trials beginning between May and August, 2008—a year and a half after the crime.

Boyd's federal trial was to begin on September 18, 2007, but he bought himself a delay by dismissing his attorney that day.

Davidson was arraigned in the Pizza Hut case on October 11. On the same day, in a hearing regarding the four state defendants' main cases, prosecutors brought in two "banker size boxes" of new evidence provided by federal authorities. The state has until January 10, 2008 to examine the new evidence, before turning it over to the defense. At that time, the state must also say whether it will seek the death penalty.

The Media, Round I

In January and February, the Knoxville media reported extensively on the case, but did not discuss the racial angle. The national Mainstream Media (MSM) ignored the case altogether. The Knoxville Police Department and Knox County District Attorney General's office stonewalled.

But the Internet was abuzz with outrage. Articles from the Knoxville media were posted and discussed at conservative message boards here, here, and here, and blogs. With rare exceptions, (see here and here), leftist bloggers ignored it.

Terribly, terribly sad. We had a similar case happen right here in our neighborhood on Halloween night, 2006. http://abcnews.go.com/US/LegalCenter/story?id=2789127&page=1.

It would have turned into a murder case if not for the good Samaritan (who happened to be black). The victims a year later are still shattered, physically and emotionally.

"Walking While White" is very dangerous, apparently, and the Mainstream Media, with their Squishy Bigotry of No Expectations, will keep turning a blind eye.
