A child is a “vote” for the continuation of your values and your culture. Apparently, many in the West don’t believe those things are worth saving. They’ve made their choice and there’s little to be done about it.

I’m not so sure American conservatives are going to repopulate the West by themselves. Liberals often come from conservative families (think baby boomers) and today about 80% of Christian children abandon their religion, at least for a time (http://mondaymorninginsight.com/index.php/site/comments/88_of_evangelical_children_leave_the_church_after_high_school/). While this doesn’t mean they will adopt liberal values, there does seem to be a correlation between church membership and large families.

So, what’s the solution? I don’t know, but if the trend continues, Western culture’s days are numbered.

Moreover, I wouldn’t worry too much about the Muslims dancing on our graves. Their culture is all about force. The Koran teaches Muslims to solve their problems through violence – crush the infidel, dismember and kill criminals, punish the victims to prevent rape, etc. I give them fifty years tops before they blow the Shiite out of each other.

After that? I suppose God can try again with the rats and roaches.

Our church families just keep having more babies. It’s great! One family had 12 children, who have reproduced a good many times themselves. I love it! The more the merrier. Wish my kids would have more.
