Why do people tolerate such asinine policies?

It was a case of the slow boiling pot.
A teenaged drug dealer is spotted with pills. He is arrested and at trial the attorney asked what made the school officials think the pills were illegal. They could have been aspirin, Tylenol ...
All forms of pills were made illegal in school. “Zero Tolerance”
A gangbanger is caught with a knife. Why is that honor student allowed to have a knife? Knives are added to zero tolerance.

With Zero Tolerance is born Zero Thought Allowed.
We, the People allow it because it saves money defending the school from law suits. It ensures all students will be treated exactly the same regardless of attitude, dress, race creed or color.

Until We, the People stand up these Zero Thought Allowed policies will continue.

Why don’t teachers stand up? Hey! They are the guys and gals with the keys to the school. They are the people who open the doors to this idiocy every day.

There are three groups here: Teachers, “Parents With Kids in Government Schools”, and the “Rest of Us” .

I place teachers into one or more of 3 groups:

1) They are too stupid to understand that what they are doing to this child is emotional child abuse.

2) They DO know that it is emotional child abuse but are greedy for a paycheck, generous benefits, and an exceptional pension.

3) They are evil and enjoy seeing a 10 year girl and her family suffer.

As for the “Parents Whose Kids Use Government Schools”, I bet that school was full of students the next day. These parents fall into one or more of 4 groups:

1) They are too stupid to understand that if this abuse could happen to another parent’s child, it could happen to theirs.

2) They DO know this, but are addicted to the free babysitting.

3) They send their child to the government school because they can not **ransom** their kid by paying extra money for private or home schooling. They KNOW that if they don’t cooperate with these government bureaucrats armed police will be at the door. ( Real bullets in those guns on the hip.)

4) They are evil and enjoy seeing their and other children suffer. ( Maybe as a result of their own suffering in government schools as a kid.)

Then there are the “Rest of Us”:

1) We are swamped at the polling booth by the other groups who have a vested interest in maintaining the status quo.

Is my use of the term “child abuse” too strong? I don’t think so.

This 10 year old is facing **felony** charges. Hm? Doesn’t that have very, very serious consequences for her and her future? Why aren’t we as citizens rising up and demanding that these government school workers be charged and prosecuted for emotional child abuse? This is like beating a child to a pulp except it is done emotionally.

As for her parents, they will be “punished” and financially abused with very high legal fees just to defend their daughter against these government workers’ emotional abuse.

Aren’t government schools great? (barf!)

What is really irritating is when government school teachers act as if they were Mother Teresa. ( It’s for the chiiiildren, you see.)
