I used to be a Thompson supporter, but after the poor showing at the debate, I've had enough of him. It now seems obvious to me that the only one I will be able to stomach voting for is Ron Paul. That's why you were posting Ron Paul pieces on November fifth. you just knew Thompson would someday disappoint you in a debate.
How about just stump for your candidate, without dissembling?

"..some of his supporters struck me as, well, kind of nuts."You could do as I do; simply ignore the "nuts".
I choose to be defined by my own actions, not of those who coincidentally share the same space as I.

The most important issue to me (as far as the presidential race) is to elect someone who will preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution.

I used to be a Thompson supporter, but after the poor showing at the debate, I've had enough of him. It now seems obvious to me that the only one I will be able to stomach voting for is Ron Paul. I resisted for a long time because some of his supporters struck me as, well, kind of nuts. They may or may not be. But it's not his supporters I'm voting for. If you just look at the candidates' records and what they are saying, Ron Paul is the only one who seems to be in touch with what's wrong with our country and what needs to be done to make America once again the "shining city on the hill".
You're PROBABLY a Hillary CLINTON supporter to0, smart ass. LOL! I LOVE people that call up shows and say "I was a life long Republican until...." whatever incident they want to SHOVE down someone's throat.
I will echo another, "BOVINE EXCREMENT". You were NO such thing, and Ron Paul Bot is what your name OUGHT to be.

This "I was for Fred but now I'm for ..." is becoming a theme here lately. It's always from someone with no post history supporting Fred Thompson.
If these ploys are supposed to make us all throw up our hands and run from Fred [who had a very good showing in the debate, I might add] they don't work and they are not believed. Just honestly support your candidate of choice and Fred supporters will do the same.

Gosh, I look at Ron Paul’s actual introduced legislation in congress, I read his floor speeches.. What exactly are you thinking he’s going to do that he hasn’t already tried to do in Congress?
Because in Congress, he’s voted for deficit spending, he’s voted for increased size of government, he’s voted for more federal intervention into the rights of states. Just like this blimp that was supposed to be up in the air nine hours ago, he’s going no where fast.

So what is Paul’s plan to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution from Islamofascists?

I was a loyal Republican until the party drifted to the left...and left me behind. Now Im a party of one.
(And you’re really a DummyCrat, because IF you were a REAL Republican, it WOULD be Mr. Thompson you’re supporting and NOT Anarchist Paul! Instead you’re choosing the kook to support? I hate liars and thieves, both should be hung!)

Very important, indeed, but isn’t having an America safe for your progeny more important? L. Ron Paul doesn’t get that we’re fighting for survival against a raging tide of islamo-nuts.
And I don’t buy your “I used to be for Fred” schtick, either.

"The most important issue in this campaign is defending this nation from the Islamofascists."I see you have swallowed the line that is handed to you, hook, line, and sinker.
IMO, the upcoming election is much broader than that one issue.
Consider for a moment the original source of Islamofacist terrorism, and who we are calling our "friends".
They are one and the same: Russia, Iran, Syria, China, Korea, etc. etc.
We fight them with one hand, and feed them with the other.

I wasn’t a supporter on 11/5, but I sure did sit up, take notice and seriously start to consider him as a serious candidate after raising all of that money.

I suppose this is the logical extension of those pointless signs Paul supporters put on freeway overpasses. Granted, everybody uses those signs once election day gets closer, and I never have understood what they were supposed to accomplish, but the Paul people seem to be employing them earliest and most enthusiastically.
