The warmists revealed their hand at Bali. If they really cared about reducing CO2 emissions, they’d be insisting that India, China, and other developing countries restrict their CO2 output — instead, they’re willing to give “developing” countries a pass. The warmists’ real agenda is to shake down the “rich” nations for a massive transfer of wealth to the “poor” nations.

And ultimately they don't even care how much the "poor" nations end up getting - as long as they gain political power and hefty commissions for themselves in return for facilitating the transfer. Socialism 101. ;)

Not true. The warmist's want the money transfered to them so that they can then dole out the money to the poor. Of course 90% of it will be eaten up in administration costs.

The only thing the Bali Communique said was that the industrialized nations should take the lead. Do you seriously think a status quo where Americans and Canadians emit 10x the per capita GHGs of the Chinese is fair? I mean we can have cars, and dishwashers and air conditioners—but they can’t? Of course they must participate, but it makes sense for us to take the lead.
