Fiscal conservatism combined with social moderacy/liberalism was what we had with the Rockefeller and country club-type Republicans, you know, the ones who kept losing elections at the Congressional level, and who gave us creeping socialism at the presidential level. Oh, a free hint: Put at least two sentences of padding between mutually exclusive assetions. That maintains at least a pretense of respect for your readers' intelligence.

One free hint of my own: The term "socialism" encompasses more than just fiscal liberalism. You may want to invest in some books for reading.
