So many good quotes in the article that need to be singled out. Suffice it to say that disarmament as understood by the Muzzies and libs not only renders those being governed defenseless, but it destroys their will to fight and leads to a sort of paralysis. I think it’s the same effect we get from being naked, our first response is shame and the desire to withdraw and cover ourselves. The laws of dhimmitude have had exactly the same effect on Jewish and Christian communties down through the centuries, where forced conversions to Islam and cemetaries are all that remain.

Barlow and Yeor sum up the result of disarmament very well:

In addition to the violence perpetrated against on the disarmed segments of the population, there is another harm inflicted by disarmament: the negative psychological effects, as detailed in Barlow’s and Yeor’s work on dhimmitude. In much of the Muslim world, disarmament created a condition of learned helplessness, which eventually led to the gradual elimination of many Christian and Jewish communities. The result would not have been surprising to America’s Founders. Joel Barlow, one of the leading intellectuals of the Early Republic, wrote that disarmament palsies the hand and brutalizes the mind: an habitual disuse of physical force totally destroys the moral; and men lose at once the power of protecting themselves . . . .

The Europeans are way ahead of us on this score, having voluntarily disarmed themselves long ago. This disarmament has had more profound effects than simply the loss of these weapons. Most Euros have become much more subservient to state, and willing to go along with any nearly anything proposed by the ruling elites. Once Hitler had disarmed the Germans, they were much more willing to go along with anything their leader and now protector implemented no matter how crazy.

Our founders had a pretty firm grasp on what was essential to the maintenance of a free republic. I pray we aren’t hoodwinked by these charlatans who would tell us otherwise.

Excellent conclusion to your post, and bears repeating.
