Presidential hopefuls woe Iowa voters

Hillary Clinton and rival Democratic presidential contender Barack Obama have been putting their case to voters in Iowa.

The pair were taking part in a debate which focused on the economy and featured few disagreements.

It was their final encounter before Iowa opens the race for the White House in three weeks.

Mrs Clinton and Mr Obama, locked in a tight three-way battle atop Iowa polls with former North Carolina Senator John Edwards, called a temporary halt in their heated campaign clashes over their relative experience, judgment and electability.

Most of the Democrats said they could begin to balance the budget by ending the war in Iraq and ending tax cuts for the most wealthy Americans.

Yep, that is the headline. I think it's a type-o. Or do they use "woe" instead of "woo" in the UK? One thing is sure. If Hillary Clinton is elected President, woe is us.

No. Definately “woe”. The Democrats “woe” the rest of the country too.

I think the title is correct.
The Democrats told a tale of woe today. Doom, Despair, And Agony on me. According to the upbeat almost giddy crew of losers who were on stage today. The sky has fallen.
I wonder why they are all so happy.
The typical Iowa voter must be in a deep dark depression by now.
