The Army Band and the Marine Color Guard certainly added to the event. Thanks for being there.
Were there any other FReepers that you know of that attended?
Yes, there were a handful.
Most of the other people came here with the caravan organized by MAF and the Gold Star mothers, or with Gathering of Eagles.
There were also some from the AUC, and one or two Patriot Guard Riders, IIRC.
There were 3-4 dozen people, approximately.
The speeches by Melanie Morgan and Col. "Buzz" Patterson were well-received, as was the moving story told by Gold Star mother Debbie Lee.
Yup! I was there...though I suppose I am equal parts GOE Freeper now!
My little Freepers in training did well but I did have to get them out of the rain after 2 hours in the cold!
