We still have WAAAYYY too many lefties in the parish, as bishops - we have our own pederast-enabler in NH - Bishop McCormack, and some cardinals (mahoney in LA and whatever his name is in Boston - who JUST recently found his voice and made a statement about pro-abortionist Catholics). We have a LONG way to go.

The difference is that the Catholic Church has rogue bishops and rogue priests. But the Episcopal Church has appointed to pro-gay woman as presiding bishop of ECUSA.

And the Archbishop of Canterbury, chosen by Tony Blair and appointed at his order by the Queen, is also pro-gay, although he is currently lying low because he doesn’t want to be seen to preside over a complete disintegration of the Church he has been chosen to lead. But his is a strategic withdrawal, not a return to orthodoxy.

The Catholic Church would have to elect Nancy Pelosi as Pope to reach a similar dismal situation. That is not likely.

In other words, the Catholic Church is dragged down by its share of sinners and unfaithful shepherds, but the Episcopal Church is now actually run by heretics. There’s a difference.
