The employees should take a vacation or sick day like everyone else does. This is just taking money from my pocket and putting it in theirs.

I don’t get paid on Christmas eve unless I work. Why should they?

I totally agree. Something tells me that if Bush said nope I will not give you the day off, there would be the same sniping. Cut me a break. Its Christmas.
