Looks like we have a spare ticket - I think - for the train. As it turns out, we’re taking the train to the Grand Canyon instead of up the Verde to Perkinsville.
I made reservations for 10.
Hmmmmm . . . That’s from Williams, as I recall . . . unless things have changed.
What’s the current schedule, then?
Finals week is that week. I think my finals for my classes are the 5th or 7th or some such. I certainly couldn’t leave before the next day. And I’ll need to calculate how workable that would be.
So, looks like it’s still iffy from here. If you have a better candidate for such tickets, please feel free to give to them. Much appreciate your thoughtfulness.

I’ll also need to calculate gas etc. I essentially have only a token income from a monthly small gift a Chinese friend gives me in the summer. My part time teaching salary stops at the end of the semester. So It’s likely that even if I make it to join y’all for some meal around Cottonwood or Sedona or Flag, that I wouldn’t be able to afford the ticket on the train. But I’ll know better later. In any case, don’t wait for me to make up my delayed mind. Give the ticket to whomever seems like the best candidate.

No problem - we’re leaving the station in Williams around 10AM, and need to be there NLT 9AM; leaving from Sedona earlier that morning. (Thursday, the 8th.) Looks like your schedule will indeed keep you away.
And that’s a shame, because I’d love to meet you! Ah well, another day...

I’m thinking an hour and a half tops to get to Williams, so we’d need to leave Sedona no later than 7:30.
If you’re in Cottonwood, you’re about a half hour to 45 minutes away...I think.
