I’m buying everyone a new washing machine for Christmas, so we can go to the library in clean clothes :-).

I’m on the wait-list for Clarence Thomas’s book.

I'm doing a lot of library visiting despite the fact that I have years and years of paperbacks to catch up on...
I have to read 20 pages of each and decide which to keep and which to toss. I don't even know why I have some of these books . . .

I just read, of all things, a Buffy the Vampire Slayer novel (novelette, really) even though I gave up on TV show novelizations. (They're awful.) Turns out that the reason that I picked it up at a library sale was because it was co-authored by Josepha Sherman, whom I've met a couple of times at Lunacon. She's a great storyteller and a funny ol' broad to boot. (I think I've heard her use that term for herself -- or one of her friends, so it's okay.) It wasn't bad.

Okay, I'm ramblin' now. Gotta get focused and get coffee.
