I just read, of all things, a Buffy the Vampire Slayer novel (novelette, really) even though I gave up on TV show novelizations. (They're awful.) Turns out that the reason that I picked it up at a library sale was because it was co-authored by Josepha Sherman, whom I've met a couple of times at Lunacon. She's a great storyteller and a funny ol' broad to boot. (I think I've heard her use that term for herself -- or one of her friends, so it's okay.) It wasn't bad.
Okay, I'm ramblin' now. Gotta get focused and get coffee.
I liked some of the “Star Trek: TNG” novels.
We always check the library sale racks; pick up lots of Shakespeare plays for $.25 each. I’ve got a standing reward offered for any Thomas Sowell books.
#1 on my list is the second volume of Rick Atkins World War 2 trilogy “The Day of Battle”. The first book in the series, “Army at Dawn” about the Allied campaign in North Africa, was fantastic.

Kathleen Willey’s recent book “Target” had a lot to say about the Clintons. So much so that I can scarcely believe that she actually wrote it. It was simply too full of information concerning Hillary. In a word...”comprehensive: and it seemed to me to be the work of professional political operatives.
The book “Blueprint” was a recreational treat for me. It is about how the N.E. Patriots organization has been able to outmaneuver the NFL’s scheme to insure parity in the league.
Other books that I have read during the last couple of months might surprise some. Atlas Shrugged among them.
