The “Democrat wave” has already passed and the tide will turn back on them next year. Let’s just hope they keep up their attacks on the military and our counter-terrorism agents. People are starting to realize the Democrats were lying to them about Iraq all along in order to dive us as a nation.

I strongly believe that, like the media creation re the “inevitability” of Billary’s victory, this “inevitability” of Republicans being swept out of office is also a result of wishful thinking and a coordinated effort by the DNC and the MSM working hand in hand.

Maybe the voters will figure out that it is because of Democrats refusal to allow us to drill for, and refine our own oil that gasoline prices are so high. They also refuse to allow nukes to be built to create cheap, safe electricity.

Are voters going to figure it out that Democrats want to destroy our prospering economy by raising taxes. It will result in rising unemployment.

How about our national security? Democrats are on the side of terrorists. They protect them at every turn.

It is also Democrats who want totally open borders. All these are highly Republican issues. Only a fool would vote for a Democrat.

. . . in order to dive us as a nation.

Nice pun. I think you meant to divide us but the donks certainly want to make us dive as a nation, too.

I think you are right. The Democrat wave wasn’t as much one in favor of them. Very few voters vote for the hope of raising taxes and extreme liberal policies. Republicans have the Democrats on record trying to raise taxes and the American people have seen that the Democrats are even worse at getting things done than the Republicans they threw out. Plus Iraq has been beat like a dead horse and now that Iraq is stabilizing the call to bring the troops home seems a hollow idea. The Democrats tide themselves to a train that has been turned around.

If I were Republicans I’d run against the Democrats as the party of retreat and the party of high taxes out of touch with the common man and his values. Will it happen? Republicans have a very bad history of repeatedly failing to label Democrats effectively. This is one reason polls on many issues favor Democrats. It is because the Democrats are always talking about how much they care about this and that and making big statements. This needs to be changed if the political landscape is going to be changed permanently in favor of the GOP and conservatives.
