I didn’t say I don’t accept the trinity. I said I don’t understand it. I also don’t believe it’s terribly important to understand it. I also don’t believe it’s terribly important to accept it. I think as long as you believe jesus was here in the flesh and rose from the dead and had an important message for us from god, then that’s all that matters. Any more specific than that and you are getting in over your head.
I cling to the following because there are too many things that I don't understand either but this is simple and straight forward:
Romans 10:9 (New International Version)
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
I believe that your definition of Christian includes Muslims (not sure if they think he arose from the dead).
