This is why, despite the advice of many FReeper FRiends, I still have not got my CCL.

You have to be able to say to yourself that you are willing to do what this woman did and that you can live with yourself for doing so, if you have to do so.

That’s what my SIL told me, anyway. And what my friend said when I asked why she never got her license after passing her test as first in her class.

Get that license. You can decide to use it or not, when the time comes, which it likely never will. But, if it does, we don't want to have to add your name to the memorial shoot.

In NOT getting a license, you have to be able to say to yourself that you are willing to run and hide while a madman is killing innocent people, possibly including you and those you love.
