I guess when the bullets started hitting him, he knew the game was up. Was he wearing a vest, I wonder?

Security guard is still a hero. No telling how many more people this guy would have shot before offing himself, if she hadn’t acted.
To: ironwill
Perhaps his decision to self-inflict was influenced by having been hit already, in which case, the heroic deeds of the security guard remain heroic.
Although the story seems destined to be used by the MSM to diminish the guard’s actions.

This guy is the Omaha mall shooter:
This guy is the Colorado Christian shooter:
Maybe there is a gene abnormality out there.
And I'll belive the guy killed himself when we have a bit more info than, "He shot himself".

I thought this might turn out to be the case, but if the armed woman had not begun shooting at him, he would not have done it, at least not until he’d taken out scores more.
She did good. Very good.

Perhaps, but I call Bull shit.
The very LAST thing the police in Colorado want is for folks to start carrying to protect themselves and others. The important to them is that THEY down play and discredit the hero.
That woman is a HERO in EVERY sense of the word and the police, politicians and gun grabbers will do whatever they can to shut this tale of heroism down!!!

The volunteer security woman is still a big hero for facing an armed man and protecting the congregation. After this, churches and synagogues, as well as malls, etc. should formulate or review their security plans. I suspect we will see jihadists imitating this crazy in the near future.

I am sitting here at work listening to Rush and the news just came on and announced this story. They played a clip of the female “security guard” and THEY CUT HER OFF BEFORE SHE SAID ‘GOD’”
She really said: “It seemed like it was me, the gunman and God”
Noooo, there’s no bias against Christians on the national media.

Okay, when will they get the story straight? Yesterday he was carrying an assault rifle and two pistols. Now he had a shotgun, too?!
Did he carry all this in his assault wheelbarrow?

In armed combat it is not unheard of for someone to shoot themselves accidentally after they have been shot. This sometimes happens when they fall on their weapon and it discharges. If this assailant was being hit by the security guard’s rounds it seems to me the reflex would be to shoot back, not shoot himself. But I wasn’t there.

In the ME they have suicide bombers, - we seem to be getting a lot of suicide shooters in this country. Guys who go out and shoot as many people as they can and then blow their own brains out..
What's up with that?

The MSM template will now be that the armed civilian shooting him had nothing to do with his stopping his attack and shooting himself in the head.

Ok. I guess that means that what she did doesn't count, or worse, it is all her fault that he had to commit suicide!
I hope a sarcasm tag isn't necessary here.
