I think the anti-Huck types are getting a little hysterical. This guy is basically GWB without the blue blood and marble mouth right down to the faith-based decision making. Not perfect. Not great on taxes and immigration, but still preferrable to Shrillary or Oprahbama. He may be a snake oil salesman (newsflash: all politicians are), but he’s a damn good one. He’s a very effective communicator and comes across as the most authentic candidate — not to us, but to people who don’t sit around burning up political chat websites . In other words, the average voter. If the immigration hardliners were as influential as they like to think they are Tancredo would be more than just a footnote. I think alot of this doomsday talk is self-fulfilling prophecy and hate to see all this energy expended on Huckabee when Miss Sauron awaits.
