We kept Comcast for Internet service, but dropped them for cable service. The cable service was terrible. We have DirecTV and love it. Now I know I’m not paying for baby mamas to get free cable, because in our area cable is a considered a necessity!

Comcast in our area hasn’t been bad. Not problem-free by any means, but not bad. So I see no reason to shop for TV signal service at this time. Maybe someday that’ll come; but not now.

I subscribed to Earthlink cable Internet service (which cost the same as the Comcast "discount") and got my TV signal via DISH. The funny thing about it is that Comcast did the install, Comcast handed the billing, and Comcast serviced the account. Yet because I signed up through Earthlink I got it cheaper.
I did return to DSL though because the up speed of the cable service was too slow.
