HARRISBURG ? Gov. Ed Rendell, standing alongside mayors and police officers from liberal cities and towns across Pennsylvania, urged action Monday on gun-control legislation that is stalled in the General Assembly.

There, fixed it. Pennsylvanians in general love their guns and their hunting. I don't believe the original version.

HARRISBURG ? Gov. Ed Rendell, standing alongside mayors and police officers from liberal cities and towns across at both ends of Pennsylvania, urged action Monday on gun-control legislation that is stalled in the General Assembly.

There. Fixed your fix. Those of us in Pennsylvania know its the liberal bookends of the state (Pittsburgh and Philadelphia) that are ruining it for the rest of the state.

"...and police officers...

You're right. This is total BS. Most rank and file cops are all for concealed carry. Last time I got pulled over was for having a tail light out, I informed the officer that I had a permit and was armed as required in Texas, she asked to see my piece and how I was carrying it. I pulled out my pocket holster and handed her the weapon after dropping the magazine. She then suggested that I rig up a holster on the side of the car seat since it would be awkward to retrieve it from my pocket holster with my seat belt fastened. We chatted for a moment longer and I thanked her for the pointer which I have since implemented. I still usually carry in my pocket because I found that I tend to forget pick up my gun when I get out of the car, but it's there if I feel like I'm going into a dangerous area.
