I’m pleased he brought up Ayn Rand’s theory of concepts. It’s a very ignored part of her work and, in my opinion, the best part.

Babies seem open to any and all concepts (e.g., languages). I read an interesting scifi story (can’t remember the name) where children were exposed to alternate dimensions and were able to learn its concepts.

Point being, what is the entire range of concepts beyond those which we glean from experience?
