Errrr, immigrants with “green cards” are defending all of us in Iraq! About 46,000 of them I think I heard in all the U.S. services throughout the world (including CONUS). So, I guess I have to be on their side on this one.

There are a lot of police departments that have recruited resident aliens to work. I worked with a couple that had heavy Irish accents. On second thought, quite a few had heavy Spanish accents too.

I'm not.
I'm all in favor of green card military, but that requires a much greater level of commitment, and has a much greater level of oversight.
Military yes, police, no way, we have enough corruption now.

"Errrr, immigrants with green cards are defending all of us in Iraq!"
Don't you think there are important differences between military and law enforcement?
Your argument is empty it seems. It is illogical to state that non-citizens should be cops just because non-citizens serve in the military.
