According to Liberty Counsel, Customer service informed a customer that it is politically incorrect to mention Christmas, because we dont want to offend our customers who are not Christians.
Considering how materialistic Christmas has become, dividing up retailers into Good and Bad is kind of missing the point. We buy too much stuff partially due to retailer’s efforts to get us to buy stuff. Maybe it is better to keep Christ out of it?
Very interesting. It says Target has a no solicitations policy. Yet I often see the political signiture gathering activity going on as I enter the store in Simi Valley. This year for certain.
And I thought for sure I saw the red kettles in front of Target last holiday season. Maybe it was a couple years back.
"Merry Christmas" is disrespectful?
The excuse to not offend doesn't wash, because none apparenty have any problem offending those who celebrate Christmas by purging the name out of existance.
It is interesting to note that after Christmas, and preceding the New Year, no one wishes anyone "Happy Holidays." Gags come out and no one hesitates to mention the holiday in question "New Year's". Yet Christmas earns the silent treatment.
This is insulting.
These lists always confuse me: Old Navy, Petco and Disney are on the “naughty” list.
Yet I have with in the last week been in those stores and the clerks say Merry Christmas and there is Christmas stuff every where.
How are these lists made? Who makes them and what is the criteria?
Truth is irrelevant these days, it’s all about perception.
Just more for the “please donate and help us fight the censoring of Christmas”, which isn’t really even taking place.
Just follow the money. Always.
Why isn’t the NCAA on that list for the Holiday Bowl? It shiould be called the Christmas Bowl since it is played while we are still basking in the afterglow of our Lord’s birthday and football is a Christian sport. The fact that we cut and run from the War on Christmas before this game is played every year makes Touchdown Jesus cry.

BTW, 3 different cast members at stores in Walt Disney World wished myself and other cutomers “Merry Christmas”. This whole list is suspect, maybe some of these companies will go after AFA and their ilk and expose their little scheme.
