IMO thats pretty facile and banal. Thats why we have so much govt? How about, for ex., its because people like it when other people can be made to work for your own benefit?

I cant believe this Huckster Elmer Gantry is leading in any national office hunt. What a way!

Government may have dropped the ball in modern American society, but religion dropped it first,

I don't see any quotation marks on that part of the story.
(just an observation.)

I do not believe that a pastor can be elected president in today's USA.

Or any other time in our history for that matter.

Christians by default do not seek worldly power without bearing persecution and the resulting separation from the spititual world in which they are supposed to belong.

Ask our current C.I.C. about this.

It Should be interesting to watch his poll numbers.
