RUDY HARD-PRESSED TO DEFEND GAL PAL'S SECURITY (irrational Rooty dodges compelling questions)
MY POST ^ | By December 10, 2007 | DAPHNE RETTER and CARL CAMPANILE

Giuliani stammered his way through a defense of tax dollars spent on a security detail for his girlfriend when he was New York's married mayor. "There were threats; they had to be responded to," Giuliani told NBC's "Meet the Press"....."Judith didn't particularly want it, but it was done because they took the view that it was serious and it had to be done this way." Giuliani has been dogged about how much his extramarital affair cost the city.

Thanks to Tim Russert, Rudy's numerous glaring personality and character flaws were exposed. Tim Russert provided a great public service. I urge every FReeper to read this (or catch MTP reruns on MSNBC).

Meet The Press transcript. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22170668/

Russert reamed Giuliani unmercifully. Russert was visibly disgusted at Rooty’s moronic smirking and giggling over every serious question. Russert even reprimanded RG: “hey, these are serious questions.”

Russert hit RG with dirty Kerik, security for Jooty, and Rooty's scummy business dealings-—pitchng hardball questions.

The smirking, grinning Rooty lied and lied and lied. He provided security for his bimbo well-before she was publicly known---so how could she have been threatened? Rooty and his admin diverted government funds to give the bimbo 24/7 security coverage. Obscure agencies with struggling budgets were saddled with the bills for Rooty's mistress.

Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, said in 2002, several months after he took office, that the Giuliani administration had kept the budget for the mayor’s office artificially low by paying more than $5 million in salaries through other city agencies.

Cannot fathom even a braindead liberal countenancing RG’s irrational, crackpot answers to Russert——so convoluted as to be incomprehensible. When Giuliani tells Russert he’s gonna win primaries outside of Iowa and NH-—better believe Rooty and his neopuke handlers will employ massive voter fraud.....and God knows what else. No one in their right mind would vote for this grinning, irrational nitwit.

Yeah, I’m starting to have second thoughts,” said Garry Biniecki, the undersheriff of Sanilac County in Michigan, whom the Giuliani campaign recently rolled out as a “Michigan Leader.” http://tinyurl.com/2auz7z

Mr. Biniecki said that his support for the former mayor originally stemmed from Mr. Giuliani’s performance on Sept. 11, but he described himself as “a little gun shy” after all the recent coverage: stories about the indictment of his former Police Chief Bernard Kerik, and then, last week, an unflattering report about the ways in which Mr. Giuliani’s administration accounted for his personal security expenses.

“It doesn’t sit well,” Mr. Biniecki said. “And then you wonder what else there is.”

Rudy Giuliani was pathetic on MTP yesterday. If the GOP nominates him for President in 2008, it will ensure that a Democrat is inaugurated on January 21, 2009. And then, Lord help us.

That this philanderer charged his dalliance to the taxpayers sets the character bar very low. How could he possibly think Republicans would overlook this egregious corruption?
Hillary is praying that Rudy is her opponent because it will take corruption off the table as an issue against her. Her campaign has all the dirt on him and probably has the campaign ads written.

He could try running as a democrat. They love that stuff.

Rudy Giuliani was pathetic on MTP...............

Giuliani's moronic smirking and his dodging issues every candidate is required to answer should make every voter question his fitness for office----even for dogcatcher.

Rooty's like the uninvited guest at the black tie party wearing brown socks with black shoes and no anti-perspirant. He slobbers all over the bar and the buffet----insults all the guests----craps all over the place---then won't go when he's asked to leave.

Rooty told MTP---he's gonna win all the primaries outside NH and Iowa. The only way he could win is with massive voter fraud.....and we should not put that past this grinning moron and his neopuke handlers.

From the day the 2008 campaigns began, the GOP elites, and the MSM, have been annoiting our candidates for us.

I am disgusted and frustrated with the GOP because we all could see this kind of garbage coming a long time ago. From day one, the swill surrounding Giuliani was only a heartbeat away.

Now we are getting close to primary time and the two big chosen frontrunners run counter to many of the top issues like immigration.

Giuliani’s past and personal behavior is demented and deplorable. Huckabee is a nanny stater, illegal panderer, and never met a tax he didn’t like.

Hey GOP, lets pick a Duncan Hunter or a Fred Thompson.

Could we please just do that?

......this philanderer charged his dalliance to the taxpayers.........

When elected officials and government personnel use public monies for private or political uses---- airplanes, cars, lodging----they are required to repay the value of those services back to government...........or be charged with embezzlement and government fraud.

MEMO TO THE IRS: Did Nathan and Giuliani satisfy all the taxable issues here?

(1) The IRS views Giuliani providing private citizen Nathan with a car service as "taxable income" which she should have reported and paid taxes on.

(2) Giuliani’s providing Nathan private security with government personnel should have been reported; Nathan should have paid the actual amount the officers were being paid (or declared the security at the fair market price equivalent to hiring private guards).

NOTE: Nathan and Giuliani are past the three year limit on additional assessments for income tax but there is no limit if the IRS suspects fraud and tax evasion.

Well, yeah, corruption, abortion, illegal immigration, 2nd Amendment issues. If he gets the nomination the base won’t turn out for him so it is rather a moot point anyway. It will be a contest dependent on which side can get the electorate to hold their noses and vote. :)

Giuliani’s past and personal behavior is demented and deplorable.

The GOP is looking at a massive election debacle ala Nov 2006 if they don't dump Giuliani. The Repub PTB better wake up---sap-happy Giuliani running around campaigning like a legit Repub candidate----is alarming the all-important Repub so/con base. A 2008 debacle looms unless they dump this useless termite Giuliani in the nearest trash bin. Dumping Giulian would give the party back its win-power.

Keep in mind, the party saw the handwriting on the wall and dumped Mehlman, Rove and Martinez---individuals responsible for dragging the party down to defeat.

CONTACT THE RNC: Demand the RNC kick Rudy out at once to forestall a Repub debacle across the nation.

Thank you for the Excellent Summary on Rooty, the philandering married Mayor who picked the WTC for his Emergency Control Center against the advice of ALL of the Experts and then promoted his NYPD driver to Police commisioner. Really a truly great pick to hand the Presidency over to the Demos in 08!

POSTED BY CALPERNIA Giuliani in recent weeks has faced a barrage of questions about New York police security costs for his trysts with Nathan and about his business clients, which have included the Persian Gulf country of Qatar. Although a U.S. ally, Qatar is accused of sheltering suspected Sept. 11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed. Khalid’s nephew, Ramzi Yousef, is the one that bombed the WTC in ‘93. Ramzi had a safe house in Brooklyn that he used. Khalid is also the one that had Daniel Pearl killed. Last story Pearl was working on was the Diamond underground trade ring.

Ironic that Giuliani has a partnership in the Diamonds Trade.

How dare you question those on FR who believe that as long as Rudy can beat Hitlery we'll turn an eye away from his baggage.

I believe that, as others have said on this thread, that Hitlery will mop the floor with Giuliani.

You do realize that in asking the GOP to back Hunter or Thompson, you're asking for people to stand for principles that the GOP has long ignored?

Today's GOP has become nothing other than "Whatever it takes to beat Hillary" instead of a principled, truly conservative party.

Watching the way this race is rolling out, it very well may be that the nomination will truly be up to real conservatives and Republicans. It’s not so much about the candidates as it is about the base’s scatterbrain attitude towards it. People need to pay attention now, and stop deciding based on what the MSM is saying. I’ve got “top tier” fatigue already, and am as alarmed as I have ever been about the attention given to the Huckster, although it is proving to be his undoing.

Eventually, voters will have to seriously ponder what is best for the U.S.A. and who exactly will lead us. We will have to ask ourselves which man has the right credentials and the strength of character to be the POTUS. I urge everyone to take five minutes and learn something about Duncan Hunter. Find out what a true conservative, a real man of character and integrity, a candidate who does not march along to the media drumbeat, is all about. Then ask yourself, “Who should be our President?”.
