Just because some people have a biological propensity towards same-sex relations doesn’t mean those relations are right or can’t be overcame.

biological propensity isn't the sole path to homosexual lifestyle either. I've known people who entered into it through prostitution and stayed for decades before leaving.

Bingo.

There's a major dose of cognitive dissonance when the topic becomes "born that way" regarding to homosexuality.

If "he was born that way" validates homosexuality, does it likewise validate other "born that way" behaviors? If a pedophile can demonstrate that he was "born that way," do we then need to "embrace pedophilia"? What about kleptomania? How about pathological killers? If they can demonstrate that they were born sans conscience, with a proclivity for killing others who inconvenience them, must we then "celebrate diversity" by "accepting them into the fellowship of man"?

Of course not. The "but I was born this way!" brand of "logic" ONLY applies to homosexuals. Thus, it is shown to be political, rather than genuinely "logical" in its basis.

Not that any of this matters, of course...
