I’m fine with acronyms, as long as I’m “in the flow” with language and am able to keep up with the jargon.

But when you’re not around a place, or even on particular threads too often, you don’t know the shortcut language or all the acronyms involved concerning that type of information.

It’s natural for people to ask what something means, as newbies are prone to ask what does “ping” or “bttt” mean?

But those are on just about every thread. I can’t count the number of times newbies have asked what that JARGON means.
