It seems inescapable . . .
that there must have been
SOME level
of craziness . . . and quite likely a great lot of it
on the mother’s side.
All consciously well intentioned, no doubt, but grossly misguided . . . AT BEST.
This kid’s darkness did not just spring up in his soul unaided by those around him.
Someone was fanning the flames early on . . . however unwittingly.
In other words, I do NOT believe that 100% of his assertions about his mom are 100% false.
Neither do I. On the other hand, I see little in his accusations that would make me think she was a bad mother. Banning of violent video games and offensive music lyrics in the home does not equal child abuse.
Have you ever raised teens in a toxic culture (such as America in the last 10 years)? I am in the middle of that process myself.
It seems inescapable . . . that there must have been SOME level of craziness . . . and quite likely a great lot of it
Do you have anything to back up this assertion? You are welcome to post it. And no, I will not consider "had a Pentecostal mother" as definitive proof of parental "craziness" as you put it.
