It does seem strange doesn't it? Most have identified him as "white" so we know they aren't "race protecting". Reading here, it looks like they still aren't comfortable moving the body. Strange.

Early Monday, authorities were searching a home in suburban Englewood, about 15 miles south of Denver, that they said could be related to the Colorado Springs shooting case. Authorities could be seen coming and going from the home, and at one point searching the bushes in front.

Maybe the police are keeping the guy’s identity close, so as not to give him fame.

The Nebraska shootings could have been just enough to push an unstable, hate filled person over the edge, and they would like to keep it from becoming a copy cat crime.
