Don't know really. Doesn't seem to flow as well. Perhaps familiarlity. I do know that I naturally tend to pass over posts in all caps if they're very lengthy at all, and even email. Seems cumbersome, for whatever reason.
It would be an interesting experiment . . .

someone were ABLE to discipline their thinking, emotions and maybe perceptual tendencies sufficiently
to
CHANGE for one month—and DECIDE that
every instance of CAPS would now be
interpreted, responded to; felt toward
as an expression of the joy of living; of expansiveness, generosity, solidness etc. to be warmly embraced . . .
and see if caps then took on a different flavor and experience.
