What I am saying: God’s nature is not to commit murder; He is incapable of committing evil atrocities. He will allow things to happen not of His own doing. But these things happen either as “natural” consequences to people’s actions or satan’s interference in people’s lives (choices people have made through their free will....even to the point of making evil choices to commit murder). God cannot interfere with everything everyone does every time, otherwise, there would be no such thing as “free will.”
OTOH, as He has in times past, He will and does intervene oftentimes and sends protection to His people.
Ultimately, He will put an end to all the evilness going on in this world once for all. Tat will certainly entail a Holy War; however, it is not waged for the purpose of evil intent, as is the case we had today in these church shootings.

But you SEEM to be implying that the sharpshooter had to be operating out of
evil intent
instead of out of the Righteous God Mandated censure of Evil at Holy Spirit’s bidding.
I believe she operated as God’s agent in God’s way in this situation.
God . . . as Almighty God . . . definer and creator of all that is . . .
also . . . defines what MURDER is vs a righteous execution.
God also notes in Scripture that the authorities are set up BY HIM
to execute judgement and punishment on evil doers.
Of course . . . when the authorities become evil . . . that’s a whole ‘nother kettle of fish.

Other hand? Perhaps God was effective this time to keep any intended bombs from going off and killing scores, or similar mass-destructive havoc (if the rumor about bombs proves untrue). We may all count our blessings, including the ones that remain unknown to us, on such occasions as evil-doers' intent being prevented by God.

The overall acceptance of the outrageous as commonplace continues to grow and defy comprehension. Has our society or our race...as in so-called HUMAN race....become so decadent and completely devoid of common sense and decency, forget sense of sanctity, that this stuff becomes as "normal" as....well, as metal detectors in school. < /sarcasm >
