When my mom and I took the train from the airport to Amsterdam, I stood the whole way with my suitcase on my feet. You're supposed to send your luggage in a Mercedes.

It was a public train with private cars and no passengers were allowed on it so Al wouldnt to be bothered by the everyday commoners! So wasn't there room anywhere on the train for the Gores' luggage? Not only did this stunt require an additional train to be run for the regular folks, then, but also the van with the luggage. I know Al Gore is insane, but this is just weird!
(How much luggage do they have anyway? I spent a week in Amsterdam with one small, but very heavy, suitcase.
