"If Nathan was provided police protection prior to their being a security-threat assessment, it probably was an illegal use of city resources," said Dick Dadey of Citizens Union.

But Manhattan District Attorney Robert Morgenthau and others said that the state law's five-year statute of limitations would make impossible any prosecution for actions in 2000.

Oh really, now isn't that special. 'We' have a GOP POTUS candidate avoiding PRISON solely because the state's statute of limitations has expired on his criminality. Man-oh-man, WHAT A GUY .. where do I sign up to vote for him???? /s

However, I don't think Fruity Rooty Tooty is off the hook, not quite yet. What he did is also a Federal Crime. He can ask some of Mayor Daley's machine henchmen about that. Or the Harvey IL officials who were indicted in August for misuse of Public Funds and City Credit Cards. Or ex gov George Ryan who is sitting in FEDERAL PRISON now for corruption.

We also have the fact now (as repeatedly reported the last week) that all the info on Rooty's bookkeeping scam was being withheld from NYC officials - on Rooty's orders. That is a continuing conspiracy so that negates the time line on any statute of limitations. Add to that 'queen' Judi ordering her bodyguards to play Taxi service for her girlfriends when they went shopping. I'm sure Rooty never heard about that from his security detail or his (cough) 'girlfriend'... Riiiiiiiight.

Dammit to hell, character does count. Rooty makes the Clintons look like the Cleavers and Billy Jeff look like a Boy Scout. Rooty is an amoral criminal degenerate.

I just can't see this woman as "First Lady",she looks nuttier than a fruitcake to me - not to mention that she's a home-wrecking you-know-what.

There was NO home-wrecking done. It was already wrecked.

Rudy’s actions in the Judy situation are disgraceful. That being said, though, as soon as a whiff of this story started to make its way into the public realm, Rudy’s camp should have thrown everything regarding this mess out there into the public realm for all to see. All at once.

Get it out there. Deal with it. Take your hits. Move on as best as possible. This “drip, drip, drip” of information stands a chance of sinking his candidacy faster than a Mike Huckabee/Mitt Romney flip-flop. (Not a Rudy supporter, BTW, but my guy - Thompson - appears to be tanking hard.)

Rudy-in-heat is something to see. Here's a few more aspects on Mayor Rudy's search for perfect extra-marital sex:

Within six months of being elected Mayor, Rudy was pictured on the front page of the New York Daily News buying clothing for Christine Lategano, his "mayoral aide" (that's kinda like an intern).

Giuliani in heat was anything but subtle. He took girlfriend Lategano to baseball games WITH his kids, until his wife had had it----pictures still exist of Lategano and the married Mayor in restaurants across the city (not having sex, though. That came after the photogs left, and in City Hall, no less, according to the buzz).

Lategano may have been great in a clinch, but she was widely disliked for her rank incompetence and arrogance.

Eventually, Giuliani dumped her but she got paid off---with an apartment and a cushy city job, arranged when Rudy dumped his appointee and loyalist liberal honcho Fran Reiter from the job so Lategano could run the city's Tourist and Visitor's Bureau which paid $250K a year.

By 1998, Rudy had a new mistress (now his wife) and sexual valhalla. He took his sexual plaything to a restaurant a few blocks from Gracie Mansion--so that his children and their friends would know about it.

By 2000 things Rudy's sex life was getting ditzy. married Rudy was squiring his mistress to city parades and other Mayoral public events.

Rudy then publicly announced to the press his separation from his wife WITHOUT EVEN TELLING HANOVER.

At the time, Rudy was taking his mistress---not his wife--- to cancer treatment sessions. He never bothered to tell his wife about his illness.

Rudy then decided he'd bring his mistress into the Mayoral home (on the spurious claim that Hanover wasn't helping him through cancer treatments---an illness he had not even bothered to tell her about).

Rudy announced he wanted to "divide the mayoral home" to bring in his mistress---a transparent ploy to force his wife and children out into the streets.

Hanover was forced to go to court to declare Gracie Mansion the marital home so as to exclude Nathan from it. The judge acquiesced to Hanover's plea.

Thwarted but not defeated, Rudy moved in with a gay couple, while his wife fended off his relentless efforts to replace her with his mistress.

On Mother's day 2000, while still married, he publicly paraded his mistress up and down Second Avenue for newspaper pictures. The evilness of this betrayal astonished even blase New Yorkers.

Giuliani's vendetta against his wife and children was still not sated. According to some reports, Giuliani cut the mother of his children's official security detail......but he provided government security to his mistress who had no {{ahem}} official duties unless you consider getting Rudy sexually blitzed to be "official".

We now know Giuliani cooked the books to force taxpayers to underwrite his extramarital activities.

My son won’t believe me when I tell him that if the election comes down to H&R, that I’ll Block his company; a vote for Hillary ought to teach a big lesson to all the taxpayers out there for good.

No wonder she has had it so soft:

“Prostate Cancer: Erectile Dysfunction
Erectile dysfunction, also called impotence, is the inability to develop or sustain an erection satisfactory for sexual intercourse.

Though prostate cancer is not a cause of erectile dysfunction, treatments for the disease can cause the problem. These include:

Surgery to remove the entire prostate gland
Radiation therapy, whether by external beam or radioactive seed implants
Cryosurgery (freezing cancerous tissue)
Hormone therapyAll current treatments for prostate cancer can cause erectile dysfunction, though some treatments can lead to impotence sooner than others.”

He was still married, wasn't he? Judith was seeing a married man, wasn't she?

What kind of man sees another woman while he is still married?

A real creep, that's what kind.

**** Taxpayers should find out what else these two parasites---Judy and Rudy---extorted from the public treasury.

Keep in mind Judy and Rudy were running "Twin Towers Fund" Rudy's special little "tax-exempt charity" Giuliani appointed his then-mistress, Judith Nathan to the Board of Directors.****

I suggest that Mr. Michael J. Garcia, the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, One St. Andrews Plaza, New York, NY 10007, (212)637-2200, take the two block walk over to NY's City Hall with a briefcase full of search warrants and subpoenas pdq. And the same for the offices of Giuliani Partners, the office of the Twin Towers Fund annnnnnnnd Rooty's private compound on Long Island.

I'd also be putting the screws to Bernie Kerick. Give up Rooty and 'maybe' get some time cut off. It worked with Sammy 'The Bull', why not Bernie.

This ain’t the Clintons. They would have saved this for Rudy if he had gotten the nomination and was running against Hitlery.

It would be great if showboater Rudy had to do the “perp walk” in front of the cameras. Is an indictment in his future? That may depend upon the statue of limitations, but I can dream.

Rooty makes the Clintons look like the Cleavers

That goes a little TOO far. The Clintons did a lot more, and have certainly had the media and a bunch of judges cover for them. However, give Rooty time and availability and I wouldn't put a Clinton-level fraud beyond him.

....Michael J. Garcia, USAG for Southern District of New York, One St. Andrews Plaza, New York, NY 10007, (212)637-2200, should walk two blocks with a briefcase full of search warrants and subpoenas to:

(1) NY's City Hall

(2) Giuliani Partners offices,

(3) the office of the Twin Towers Fund, annnnnnnnd,

(4) Rooty's private compound on Long Island. ........

I'd also be putting the screws to Bernie Kerick.

Kerik ALSO ran a tax-exempt foundation while employed by the city.......a very dirty foundation.

When Kerik was commissioner of the City's Department of Correction and later as Police Commissioner, he also ran the New York City Correction Foundation, serving as its President. During Kerik's watch, the sole authorized signatory for the Foundation, one Frederick Patrick, managed to loot the foundation of $137,000 (or at least that's what prosecutors were able to get him to cop to).

Add to Garcia's list:

5. Kerik's Department of Correction

6. Kerik's Police Commissioner Office,

7. Kerik's York City Correction Foundation,

8. Patrick's Commissioner for Juvenile Justice Office,

9. Patrick's Deputy Commissioner for Community Affairs Office.

Could all be places where Rooty hid his mistress' upkeep. This chick didn't let the Mayor pork her b/c she liked the way he parted his hair.

Btter now than after the nomination... But the question is : why is the media suddenly helping us? Laying into Giuliani and Hillary seems counter to what I’ve expected their plans were: To get Rudy running against Hillary, and THEN sabotage his campaign. Are they REALLY trying to get Huckabee the nomination? Why? Obviously they’d like an Obama presidency, so there’s no questions about their motives there, but Rudy was set to win easily. Why take him out, when he was the one with the most skeletons in the closet? The motive escapes me.

“The motive escapes me.”

I would guess it’s as simple as reporters wanting to get a scoop in the highly competitive, 24/7 news media of today.
