Friends of Hillary (Alpha Women Remain Elusive)
Wall Street Journal ^ | 8 December 2007 | MONICA LANGLEY

Posted on 12/08/2007 9:22:45 AM PST by shrinkermd

She's the ultimate professional woman. So you'd think Hillary Clinton's biggest source of support would be other alpha females.

But as the New York senator's presidential campaign works to mobilize women executives, doctors and lawyers around America, it's getting a reality check: Many have resisted the call-up. So far, she's doing better among women of more modest means.

Professional women are "much harder sells" than men. "They're tough." They are less inclined than men to see things in black and white, and seek more information before deciding, this adviser says. Events for businesswomen must be substantive, because they frequently ask more questions than businessmen, Sen. Clinton's advisers say.

Dr. Janice Werbinski, past president of American Medical Women's Association and an early Clinton supporter, says she didn't like the New York senator's answers in a recent conference call for female physicians. "Now I'm having second thoughts," she says.

"I saw the same thing when I ran for Senate the first time in 2000," Sen. Clinton said in an interview on Wednesday afternoon. "Professional women were the last to close for me." They were not about to support her just because of her gender, she said. "This is very much in line with what I've seen" in past campaigns.

...Among all women -- Democrats, Republicans and independents -- feelings toward Sen. Clinton vary with professional status, according to the latest Wall Street Journal/NBC national poll, taken in early November. Among nonprofessionals, 52% said they had positive impressions of her, while 38% were negative. But women who identify themselves as professionals or managers were markedly less enthusiastic, with 42% reporting positive impressions, and 44% negative.

Another challenge: Professional women are naturally higher-income than their nonprofessional peers, putting them squarely in the traditional low-tax, antiregulation territory of the Republican Party.

My, my, my, how the lexicon changes so rapidly these days.

FRIENDS - Used to mean the circle of people you and your family grew up with, worked with, and trusted.

BUDDIES - Used to mean the guys you went out drinking with.

NOWADAYS (Thanks to Hillary)

FRIENDS - Members of GBLT
BUDDIES - Members of GBLT and Hillary’s Mother and Daughter.

Most of the country doesn’t know about Huma and it looks like they are working hard to keep it that way. Part of the miscalculation of the democrats is that there are many more people than they realize with traditional values, who DON’T want to see their values (and our culture) eroded by those pandering to homosexual lifestyles and Sharia law and gun control, nanny state, and a whole host of other things that are not in our best interest.

Even after plastic surgery, she still looks like Web. Amazing. I feel sorry for Chelsea - she never really had a chance growing up in that household.

Here is the bottom line on Hillary.

She MUST win.

If she doesn’t, she will be facing financial ruin and possibly jail time.

The main thing protecting her now is Bruce Lindsay having control of the Clinton Admin records, and...
The LAW that the Clintons had Webb Hubbell introduce and get passed that says that it is illegal to investigate any ‘ethics’ violations by the Clintons, their staff, their FAMILY, or their FRIENDS, during the ARKANSAS GOVERNORSHIP.

She won’t be able to stop the PETER PAUL trial, if she doesn’t retain POWER.

She won’t be able to control FBI ,SEC investigations into her campaign bundling, if she doesn’t retain power.

If she doesn’t retain power, then there is a whole string of domino’s waiting to fall with her. Pelosi, Feinstein, Boxer, etc.

I imagine, if she loses, you will see her move to some non-U.S. atoll hideaway. (wouldn’t that be nice)

Seems to me that this was more about EDUCATED WOMEN than about ALPHA WOMEN.

A-Women are bitches.

Educated women are just a bit more informed.

She’s so UNprofessional.

Truly professional women know how to LEAD. She only knows how to bully.

She cheats.

She steals.

She “does whatever has to be done” (Ron Brown, Vince Foster, et al) to get what she wants.

She wants it all.

She is PURE EVIL.

She is the greatest present danger to our Nation.

Clintons cheat.

Even if they “lose,” they plan to take control through cheating.

Excellent points, my FRiend.

One might be tempted to include the China connection among the string of dominoes that she and her impeached and disbarred alleged husband do not want throughly investigated.

To the MSM, she is the AntiConservative
The irony is that she actually is a conservative--conservative socialist, that is. Her ideals are old school Marxism with a large dose of Mussolini style Fascism.

Okay, I'll see your Marxism, and the Facism, and raise you a Stalinism with a psychosis.

“Even if they “lose,” they plan to take control through cheating.”

No doubt they are the ‘experts’ when it comes to cheating.

Just ask anyone of the hundreds of females Billyboy has boinked.

“Truly professional women know how to LEAD. She only knows how to bully.”

How true, and bully she does! What amazes me is how many people on the Democrat side of the aisle are willing to be bullied.

>>>She’s the ultimate professional woman. So you’d think Hillary Clinton’s biggest source of support would be other alpha females.<<<

What bullsh*t. My wife is the ultimate professional woman. She is intelligent, with multiple college degrees, a lifetime of service to her community, a raft of complimentary references from past and current employers, the appreciation of her church, the support of her family, and love from her son, whom she stayed home with during his first five years of life before returning to work. I trust her with her everything. She is competent, pleasant to talk with, and honorable.

Hillary, on the other hand, is brittle, with a caustic approach toward others, with a lifetime of sounding bigger than she really is, a history of acrimony without accomplishment, and a reputation for churlish revenge and the casual lie. She’s the ultimate something, but nowhere near the ultimate professional woman.

Women who have made it on their own have little use for women who's biggest claim is an M.R.S. degree...

If Hillary hadn't married Bill, she'd be a small time lawyer working in a medium size firm.
