My grandson is named Jai. We say it as Jay. Why my daughter wanted it that way I don’t know nor do I care. Thankfully he has a healthy mommy & daddy to live his life with. I like the names & if thats what the mother & father wanted to name their babies who are we to judge? I see all kinds of names now that make me wonder why on earth someone would name their child that. I would not want to be named ESPN although some spell it differently, its pronounced the Es-pan. I really like Legend much better then being named for a sports channel. Or how about Macy? I wouldn’t want to be named for a dept store either. My daughter has a family name. Her name is Michaelee Stella, just say it Michael-Lee. It was my mother’s wish that one of her granddaughters carried the tradition on & it is my sister’s name too. However we call her Sassy & Lela. We took the Le from the last part of her name & the La from her middle name & put them together. Was it my favorite name? No it wasn’t but I felt the need to carry on tradition & my late mother’s wishes. Prayers for these babies & their daddy. May their mother rest in peace. I will be sending a donation also.

If the extended family (grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles) cannot pitch in to help raise those babies, the father may have to put them up for adoption.

There are triplets in my family. The church pitched in and every day, a lady from the church came over to their house and cooked dinner, and watched the babies so the mother could shower and get a little nap. They couldn’t have done it without the church.

Wasn’t Tarzan’s “ward” in the 1960’s t.v. series starring Ron Ely named “Jai,” and played by Manuel Padilla Jr.?
