BFD. In the Chicago ‘burbs, they were just a retail outlet. None of their salespeople knew anything about the software or hardware products.

The last time I shopped at a CompUSA (wireless router) the sales girl who took care of me was quite knowledgeable. She was also quite pumped up over the fact that she'd given her notice and was due to start at the local Apple store the next week.

Well, I can understand why she was pumped up. If she actually knows what she is talking about she might get more satisfaction elsewhere. The group I ran into was not even interested in knowing where things were in their own store. To be fair though, they did know what the word ‘cable’ meant. Other than that, they were not interested in helping out.
