Lee Rogers used to do a show with Bernie on KGO. It will be interesting to hear what Rogers has to say.
Now THAT musta been interesting. Was it like a Johnny Cochran/Nancy Grace type thing?
They included it in their straight local news segment after the ABC News feed, but I didn't hear them talk about it at all after that.
Brian Sussman was taking callers on it last night, but they were mostly holding their fire and giving Ward the benefit of doubt. Caller opinion ranged from how illicit materials can show up on a computer without the owner's knowledge (not applicable in this case), to how it is possible to get permission from the govt ahead of time if one were pursuing a project (like writing a book) that required access illicit materials (specific example was a nuclear physicist needing acccess to classified nuclear weapons technology that is otherwise illegal for a lay-person to have).
The consensus was that if Ward really was working on a book that needed this material, he should have gotten the proper clearances before accessing the material.
