Bill Clinton: I'd Sit in on Hillary's Cabinet Meetings 'Only If Asked' [Projectile Vomiting Alert]
ABC News ^ | 5 Dec 07 | ABC News

For the first time in history, a former president has a good shot at getting back into the White House … as a spouse. And that's just one reason why Bill Clinton is one of Barbara Walters' "10 Most Fascinating People of 2007."

If his wife wins the 2008 presidential election, would the former president sit in on cabinet meetings?

"Only if asked," Clinton told Walters. "And I think it would only be wise if it were on a specific issue. I think it's better for me to give her my advice privately most of the time."

Clinton says he would weigh in if he disagreed with a decision his wife planned to made as president, "but when she made it, I'd do my best to support it," he said. "I'd keep my mouth shut."

"Mr. President, is your wife really smarter than you are?" Walters asked.

"About some things," said Clinton. "We have different kinds of intelligence. She has a great organizational intelligence, and we've always worked well together. … I said the other day -- we celebrated our 32nd anniversary -- I'd rather spend the night talking to her than anybody I can think of."

Clinton said that before Hillary decided to run for president, and if the laws were changed, he might have liked to run for a third term in the White House.

"I loved being president," he said. "I loved it. And I thought I was well-suited to the time."

The man some call the rock star of American politics hasn't lost his magic touch.

"Mr. President, do you think you've been a very good ex-president?" Walters asked.

"Oh, I don't know, but I've had a good time trying to be," said Clinton.

So I see. If his wife made a decision that was different from what Bill advised he would shut up and support her. But if the President in office now were to do so Bill would publicly disagree to the point of treason.

Great pic, and I agree, "that poor puppy."
I'm sure it brought back thoughts by BJ about his dog that ran away and got run over a few years ago...

“...night talking to her than anybody I can think of.”

Well talking is all he would want compared with his extensive nights with other women. and regarding talking...I suspect Hillary’s was often unprintable words while Bill’s was only what he could mouth while dodging flying lamps.

Nothing but a blatant ad for the bitch... Clinton did nothing in 2007 that makes him one of the fascinating people, Walters just couldn’t put on the bitch and get away with it. so she puts on the Rapist.

Once again I had to email Barbara and ask her if she’s investigated Bubba’s history of sexual abuse against women. Once again, no response.

Yesterday the Hillster lost 100,000 votes by attacking Wall Street. Today, Bill loses another 100,000 votes by announcing he’ll sit in on her meetings. Heheheeee. Losing votes LIKE CRAZY!! And it’s only December/07.

From Best Of the Web, Taranto

Today in History

From the report of the independent counsel investigating President Clinton, this blast from the past:
On the morning of Saturday, December 6 [1997], Ms. Lewinsky went to the White House to deliver the letter and gifts to the President. The gifts included a sterling silver antique cigar holder, a tie, a mug, a “Hugs and Kisses” box, and an antique book about Theodore Roosevelt. Ms. Lewinsky planned to leave the parcel with Ms. Currie, who had told Ms. Lewinsky that the President would be busy with his lawyers and unable to see her.
Ms. Lewinsky arrived at the White House at approximately 10:00 a.m. She told the Secret Service uniformed officers at the Northwest Gate that she had gifts to drop off for the President, but that Ms. Currie did not know she was coming. Ms. Lewinsky and the officers made several calls in an attempt to locate Ms. Currie. The officers eventually invited Ms. Lewinsky inside the guard booth. When Ms. Currie learned that Ms. Lewinsky was at the Northwest Gate, she sent word that the President “already had a guest in the [O]val,” so the officers should have Ms. Lewinsky wait there for about 40 minutes.
While Ms. Lewinsky was waiting, one officer mentioned that Eleanor Mondale was in the White House. Ms. Lewinsky correctly surmised that the President was meeting with Ms. Mondale, rather than his lawyers, and she was “livid.”
Takes you back, doesn’t it? And just think, we could have four more years!

I’d like to claim credit for it, but I can’t. I swiped it from someone else—don’t remember who.

LOL, I was about to post this article - the search picked up yours.

What can I say? Barbara Walters is climaxing over a leftist again, nothing new. But still nobody likes Hillary...

I would only sit in on her cabinet meetings if I were asked, too.

Does he imply there might have been a chance he would sit in on them even if here weren’t asked??

“Ah would only have sex with that woman if she asked. Unless I decided to rape her.”

They tossed the cat out as soon as they left the White House.
