“I noticed that the Mormon never tried to insert his views into discussions and decisions we had to make, but the fundamentalist sure did, and we had to remind him constantly that this was not the time and place to try to enforce his personal religious beliefs.”

Precisely why Huckabee and his bible thumping are so dangerous.

>>Precisely why Huckabee and his bible thumping are so dangerous.<<

I’m not on the Huck Wagon, but I’d prefer a man who is guided by his beliefs and sticks by them no matter what the situation; than a man who puts them on a shelf and remains quiet just because it wouldn’t be politically correct to speak out. You get no waffling with the former, and you know exactly where they stand regardless of whether or not you agree with it.

The Clinton’s are examples of those who profess a weak belief, but don’t admit that it’s the guiding force in their life. What’s the result? Decisions made by which ever way the wind is blowing. Rudderless boats.

To the believer, the Word of God is authoritative for all aspects of life, no matter who their employer is.
