My brother ones a great bar/dinner in Florida when a no smoking ban took place. He hated the idea, said he’d lose business and go under. However, he’s still there, didn’t go under and his business actually increased. So I suppose the fact of the matter is, people don’t like to smell cigerette smoke.

We noticed that the restaurants are fuller now for breakfast. There used to be a line waiting for the non-smoking section and empty seats in the smoking section - now it is all full.

...so, your brother likes the government telling him how to run HIS business? This isn't a matter of health, this is an issue of choice and government intrusion.

It's really too bad we can't tell the government how to operate.

I suppose the fact of the matter is, people don’t like to smell cigerette smoke.

Then those people should start their own bars and restaurants, rather than using the guns of government to enforce their will on the rest of us.
