We were in the UK for Christmas last year. I had been warned that Brighton wasn’t the lovely place it had been in years past. I was standing in the Lanes when a group of 6 14 year olds passed by me. Four went in front of me and two went behind me. One that was behind me leaned in and screamed in my ear. I jumped a mile (exaggeration). The 14 year old yobbos kept walking, laughing at me and pointing. There were no police around so I was left with just my aggravation. I know this was a much smaller scale but I won’t be going back to Brighton on any more of our visits to the UK. Very sad.

Anyway, I’m sorry you had a bad experience - which is what I would describe as yob behavior. Sadly there are so many of these little shites over here, and efforts to crack down on it are not having much of an effect.
Brighton is one of the nicer ‘resorts’ we have in the UK - a traditional coastal location here really, although there are many more.
