We’re only supposed to get a couple of inches here, but my wife says the roads were icy on her way in to work.

Good morning, CMN
I’m actually across the river from you near 295. I saw a few flurries a little earlier, but don’t see them now.

That’s the only thing. It does affect the roads. Careful driving home Conor.

I’ll be careful. My wife thinks the schools will close early today.

Sounds like you are getting it worse than us today. Though I should check... I think we are getting snow at rush hour, of course.

Not sure what you are asking, but if you right click on the graphic you can save as and then park it wherever you store your graphics. Know what I mean?

Billie, how beautiful all of the openings were. There is so much to read and go through and I won’t be able to do it all today but bet its incredible. The Pledge is different and outstanding and the Pound Cake sounds like something I would like to try sometimes.
Just a note, I have been under the weather a day over a week. Finished antibiotics yesterday...have felt like a wrung out dishrag. Started with sinus infection then flu-like symptoms of aching all over. All of the glorious wedding rehearsal and wedding took place Friday and Saturday. I slept about 4 hours in the mornings so I could attend everything. I am prejudiced because it was my granddaughter getting married but this being a Christmas evening wedding, it was the most beautiful wedding I have ever seen........the wedding reception was at a Holiday Inn on Interstate 81 and it was wonderful. Over 250 people attended the wedding and reception. Had a great disc jockey and I managed to have a most enjoyable time (sick and all). Lots of dancing, eating, chatting, just fun for all. The couple were just so lovely. Their honeymoon won’t start until the 15th because my granddaughter still has some classes to attend. They both went to work on Monday but still have a nice trip to look forward to. Sorry this is long...just wanted everyone to know where I had been so long.

Another note... I honestly don’t know if I will ever get to CT, Billie, but viewing this thread is like visiting...:)
AND, I can’t wait ‘til Meg gets a look at the wildflowers..:)
Hah!
To: ConorMacNessa
Fabulous, Conor! You would not believe how warm and sunny it is here... weird, but beautiful. This has been the year of endless summer...:)
And yourself? How are feeling, getting good reports?
To: La Enchiladita
Doing great, thanks! The treatments are not bothering me up to this point. I start radiation toward the end of January.
