I have already looked at threads from the other day on Mitt’s illegals, in light of him doing it again, it makes many Romney defender’s arguments seem even weaker on second reading than they did then.

The argument hasn't really changed. He was a customer. He was in no position to verify the legal status of the firm's employees. They promised him they would stop using illegals. He believed them and gave them a second chance.

In retrospect, he was wrong to trust them, and it's very easy to say that as a Monday morning quaterback.

Yet it would not have happened to me , I would not have kept them, and they could not have deceived me a second time.

The owner denies Romney’s claims about his claims of promises, and it still took the press to get Romney to stop doing this.

Romney should have insisted on ID from every worker that works about his home, especially these guys.
