Go with the C4 Vette. Much more car for the money.

It's my preference. But I'm also a big tightwad. Honestly, I'm probably looking at a 91 model (last year before they went to the LT1) because they're quite a bit cheaper. That's a fairly old car, but as long as it's lower mileage and been properly maintained it should be fine. Not quite as much throwdown as an LT1, but enough to suit my needs.
