If you study history, though, you'll find that folks actually don't rule merely through their birthright. Over and over again the weak and vicious were ruthlessly disposed of and the strong raised up in their place (Henry VI . . . Edward II . . . William Rufus). Even in modern times, those who don't deserve to rule get deep-sixed (e.g. Edward VIII). And I have a ten spot somewhere that says Prince Chuck won't ever be crowned king . . . .
