The Native Alaskans have done very well indeed from Alaska’s oil. Odd they would sue to stop this. Probably a fringe group.
The “native Alaskans” of today are but the border-crossers of yesterday; there is no animal life truly indigenous to Alaska.
I read that the group of natives that are opposing the drilling live about 300 miles from the proposed drill site. The natives who live in the area around the site, support the drilling because they would benefit the most.
